Assigned Counsel Program
The DCACP was created in response to the County of Dutchess’s duty to provide legal representation to indigent persons in Dutchess County’s Appellate, Criminal, and Family Courts. These services are mandated under Article 18-B of the County Law. Our mission is to improve the quality of indigent legal representation by managing, supporting, and training the Dutchess County Assigned Counsel Panel.
